Social Care Needs
GreatPride Care’s main objective will be to support you in all your social care needs and help to lead the whole team in giving you the opportunity to make your own decisions; maintaining and promoting high standards of care, safety and quality and ensuring your decisions are respected and also creating an enabling environment for you to maintain your life choices and keep active. We are ready when and where you want us to support you and we are ready to deliver the best care whether it is short or long term, giving breaks to family members/carers. We are here to help and give you the needed support no matter how small it may be; nothing is too small for us. You take the lead while we follow because it is your life and we will give you all the necessary encouragement to be in the driving seat.
GreatPride Care would like to start your day with a warm greeting “Good Morning” depending on the time of day, followed up with a hot drink to make you welcome and relaxed. Some of the activities we carry out are:-
- Support with shopping either with you or for you.
- Going for a leisurely walk or drive in the car.
- Collecting and ordering prescriptions.
- Support with medication.
- Support as a Personal Assistant; organising your appointments, attending appointments with you, going to post office, social activities (bingo etc.), visiting friends & family, Day Centre, church, etc.
These social care needs can be provided over a short or long term basis giving family peace of mind.
